New 2020 Soboba Casino Resort

February 19, 2019

Prior to opening the new casino resort, Soboba Casino had operated with a tent structure since it began in 1995. Then on Feb. 28, 2017 construction began on a replacement casino less than a mile away. The bew building site was Gilman Springs and Lake Street adjacent to The Country Club at Soboba Springs. After two years of construction the all-new Soboba Casino Resort opened on Feb. 18, 2019.

Soboba Casino Resort reopened today May 27

May 27, 2020

Soboba Casino Resort reopened its casino today at 12:00 PM. The gaming floor is now 100% smoke-free. Until further notice the hotel will remain closed.

Soboba is limiting the number of guests into the casino to ensure proper distancing. All guests and employees must wear masks.

Only three food outlets are open at this time - Koffee Kiisha, Fairway Cafe, and the Noodle Bar. Each has limited seating and to-go service. The Tree Bar and Cabaret Bar are open.

Concerts and live entertainment are suspended at this time.

Soboba Video Previews 2019 Resort Property

This video provides a visual summary of the new Soboba Casino Resort property. The resort lies on 290 acres and is located within one mile of the old casino.

The new casino will have 90,000-sq-ft of gaming space and 2,000 new slot machines. There will also be 32 table games, a high roller room, casino bars and a sports lounge.

The hotel will be 6-stories tall with 200 guest rooms and a total of 224,000square feet.

Soboba Casino's new resort will open in February 2019

As final work nears completion, the Soboba Casino announced it was making preparations for the grand opening celebration at the new Soboba Casino Resort in the third week of February.

Local community members from the Chamber of Commerce and the Riverside County Sheriff's office have visited the new casino for a preview.

The Hemet San Jacinto Chamber of Commerce is planning a golf tournament as part of the grand opening celebration. The group will also sponsor the Reverse Drawing, a fundraiser event with a $10,000 grand prize.

New Soboba Casino will open in First Quarter 2019

August 14, 2018

During the first quarter of 2019 the new Soboba Casino is scheduled to open. The new building will be six stories tall and offer a resort with 200 guest rooms. The casino resort is owned by the federally recognized Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians.

The new casino resort will replace the original facility that is smaller. The original casino building first opened in 1995.

32 gaming tables and 2,000 slot machines will be offered at the new casino. The casino building is 474,000 square feet. There will also be a pool, a bar in the lobby, a cabaret lounge, conference and meeting rooms, banquet space, and a center for fitness. Dining options include a food court, noodle restaurant, a cafe open 24 hours, and a coffee shop.

The gaming compact between the tribe and the state is what determines the amount of games that can be in operation at the casino.

It is located on land that is 37.5 acres and nearly one mile from the original gaming facility. Close to the Country Club at Soboba and next to the Soboba Springs Golf Course. About 85 miles from downtown Los Angeles.

Plans for the new casino resort were announced in 2015.

Groundbreaking took place last year in February.

The topping off ceremony was held in December 2017. During the ceremony, three white beams where placed on the top of the frame that made up the six story hotel. The beams where signed by tribal members, employees of the casino, and workers of the construction team.
